AUTUMN SPAY CAMPAIGN 2024

 

It's time for our 2nd Spay Campaign of 2024! 

 

This is notably one of our most important fundraisers of the year, one where we make a HUGE difference in the community in Romania!

 

Did you know that just ONE unspayed female dog and her offspring can produce 67,000 puppies in just SIX YEARS and in SEVEN, a cat and her offspring can produce 370,000!!!! 🐶🐱

These babies overrun the streets in Romania are starving, abused and neglected. Dog catchers remove them from the street and put them into kill shelters. 

​

These shelters like Barland Public Shelter we will be visiting next month are overcrowded. It's survival of the fittest with dogs competing for food, living in their own feaces or hosed down when the maggots start to grow. 

​

The dogs are petrified, mistreated and as much as we try our best to save them and bring them to the UK. We must open our eyes to the underlying problem and do part to contribute to the over breeding that is happening 💔 

​

It's not life for a dog to be born, mistreated and then murdered just because people can't afford to spay them 😥

​

Can you help us make a difference? Just £30 will allow us to spay one female.. £30 is all it takes to save the lives of thousands!!

We had an incredible uptake in the Spring Spay campaign with our wonderful vet telling us that so many people in the community were bringing their cats and dogs along.
